Whether an athlete or a spectator, our students fully embrace the many sporting opportunities on offer. IGSSAÌý
Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú is a member of the Independent Girls' Schools' Sports Association (IGSSA), which offers regular Co-curricular sporting competitions and carnivals. This provides quality sporting opportunities for students participating at different levels of competition in the pursuit of a healthy, active lifestyle.ÌýMember schools of the IGSSA competitions are: Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Presentation College, Methodist Ladies' College (MLC), Penrhos College, Perth College, Presbyterian Ladies' College (PLC), Santa Maria College, St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls and St Mary's Anglican Girls' School.Ìý
In addition to carnivals for Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming, the IGSSA Interschool competition in the Senior School is played regularly during after-school hours. Operating all year round and offering different sports at various levels each term, this competition is an excellent way for students to engage in physical activity, enjoy the camaraderie and friendship found in team sports, and potentially unlock a new passion – all at a level suitable to their experience and ability.Ìý

Sporting opportunities are not just limited to IGSSA involvement. Students are also able to engage in a number of other programs offered by the College, as well as external opportunities and competitions.
Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Netball
Students at Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Presentation College are offered the opportunity to play in the Perth NetballÌýAssociation Winter Competition. The Club comprises of teams from the Junior School and SeniorÌýSchool.
Only students enrolled at Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Presentation College are permitted to play for the Âé¶¹Èë¿ÚÌýNetball Club.
Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Rowing
The Rowing Program provides Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú students with the opportunity to learn new skills, gain a sense of responsibility to themselves and to others, build self-improvement strategies, time management, provide enjoyment, increase fitness and develop teamwork.
Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Presentation College has a partnership with the Fremantle Rowing Club in facilitating a dynamic Rowing program for our students. The Club assists the Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Rowing Club with use of facilities and equipment and access to a dynamic and experienced coaching team.Ìý
Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Swim Training
We are thrilled to partner withÌý who run their training programs from the Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Aquatic Centre, with a focus on developing water confidence, technique and speed for swimmers at all stages.
The more advanced swimmers have the opportunity to attend theÌý, which provides a competitive pathway for those with aspirations to compete at a Club, State, National or International level.

Sport Co-curricular
In addition to the opportunity for Co-curricular involvement in the various IGSSA sporting teams, the following Co-curricular groups provide additional time for health and fitness:
- Strength and Conditioning Facilities: 1 weights room and 1 cardio room. A trainer visits twice a week to educate students on how to correctly train in a gym and how to write fitness programs.
- Running Club: A casual run with friends once a week.
